Chumby

I've fancied getting a Chumby ever since they first appeared back a couple of years ago but at the time Chumby wouldn't ship them to the UK (for electronic certification reasons I think) so you had to rely on grey imports where the cost was about the same in pounds as in US dollars i.e. over £200.

Now that's changed and they will ship to the UK. They've also got a new model out, the Chumby One (which isn't the one pictured right) which has an improved spec (faster processor, more flash, battery operation, can play video), which is priced at US$99. Even when you add US$24.95 to that for shipping it's still only about £75 at the current exchange rate so I weakened and I've just ordered one.

It won't ship until mid-December so I won't get it until after Christmas now so here's a virtual Chumby to keep me amused.
