We believe in open sourcing as much code as possible under the terms of the GNU General Public License.

The Opus content management engine which runs this web site is available under the licence. You can download it from this page.

We have some other, more trivial, bits of software available too:

• Apropos - a little database for storing factettes and URLs
   
• address.php - code to let you extract address data from a PalmPilot address book. May also be useful for other data files such as the datebook.
   
• colormap.php - a page which displays the Windows standard 216 colours together with their number. Use these in your HTML and you'll reduce the load on the user's web browser

.php files are stored with .txt extension to stop our server interpreting them as PHP. You need to save them and then rename them to remove the .txt extension.
