Some kind of fancy licker¹

I have no good reason to post this photo here other than that it's so very fine.

Excellent depth of field. Beth spotted it on the BBC news web site today. It's their "Scotland's big picture" today on the Scotland page. It's a photo of Siberian huskies training ahead of the Aviemore Sled Dog Rally which will see more than 1,000 dogs gather at Loch Morlich on 19th and 20th January.
