Four Eyes

»

Five and a half years after my first pair of glasses and I've just picked up my third pair from the wonderful David Murphy Opticians.

My new glasses

My second pair was far too big and this time I've gone small again as I realised that being able to push the glasses down my nose to look over them was so useful (and also makes me look like an eccentric professor, which is increasingly close to reality with the passing of the years).

It's a little depressing to look back at the photo on me in September 2002 with my first glasses on:

Speccy

Fair enough, I'm tanned because it's September but look at the grey in my beard now. I'm getting old. Ho hum, ho hum.
