Sal

A welsh band called Sal have won the competition for a theme song for the new James Bond book Devil May Care (by Sebastian Faulks, writing as Ian Fleming, out imminently). The song is rather fine and some of their other stuff isn't bad either.

On their MySpace page there's four tracks you can listen to, including "Devil May Care".

They remind me a bit of Pat Benatar so if that's the sort of thing you like then wander over for a listen.

They've got an EP Infatuation available too which is now in my Amazon shopping basket. (It's got a horrible cover by the way, she's actually a good looking lass so Bob alone know why they had to make her look like a junkie for the cover shot.)
