Renaissance Firewall

»

Combining two of my interests in one I give you a 500 year old German firewall "totally secure against all manner of address spoofing, denial of service, man-in-the-middle attacks and general unfriendly internet behaviour".

The plaque says

Ergänzte Original-Reste seltener Bemalung einer Branmauer aus der Renaissance-Zeit, etwa 1500-1550

which I reckon you can read as something like:

Supplementing the original remains, rarely decorated, of a firewall from the Renaissance period, about 1500-1550.
