Oh dear, no more Topiramate

Well 200mg a day didn't help so today we went back to see that nice Dr Lennox, privately again. In fact I seem to be getting better now but anyway this is normal as we're after Christmas and that's the usual time for the Big Winter Cluster™ to start to ease off.

Winter Migraines

So it's Christmas Eve today and I've not got a migraine, which is good as I have had one for the last five days making it probably the worst patch so far this winter.

More Migraines

So the migraines continue now that we're into GMT. I've had visual aura one evening which is a rare treat for me and as well as a couple of full blown ones (including today) I am having a lot of low level headaches. Oh, and I'm still cold turkey on analgesics.

So, the clocks have gone back, tomorrow's the first of November, and today I've had only my second migraine since June. Nothing if not predictable my brain. Sigh.

A Headache Free Month

So it's month since I last wrote about this and it turns out that the eight day cluster I was describing then was the last of the headaches. I've not had a single headache of any severity since. I've even managed the odd quarter bottle of wine and glass of madeira in the last week or so without coming to any harm so I think I'm through it, touch wood.
