This is a wander from Lode over Bottisham Fen towards Swaffham Bulbeck. Then you use Swaffham Bulbeck Lode to head north west before using footpaths and roads to get back. We did this for the first time in January 2009 and you can find the route here.
The tricky part is the footpath as you come off the Lode, which needs some careful map following and you end up struggling down the edge of a field.
What we didn't know, but we do now, is that a little to the north west there's a new path which has been put in by the National Trust across White Fen so if you do this route we would recommend picking up that to get down to White Fen Drove.
