Another Early Start

4:30am and here I am back on the sofa. I've been having another bad night. Keep waking up, keep coughing, and I'm also snoring apparently so the last time I nodded off I got woken up again. So time to get up and try to reset my brain.

As predicted it's raining outside. Our weather station claims 9.8mm since it started last night but it was strangely slow starting to register last night so I'm suspicious of the reading and the University weather station has seen 13.5mm which increases my suspicion. When it dries up I'll have to take a look at the mechanism (it's a little water powered see-saw and it can get clagged up occasionally).

Meanwhile on BBC Radio Five Live the first Grand Prix of the season is about to start in Australia. New rules this year: everyone has the same electronics and no launch control so that should be interesting. Hamilton is on pole so that's a good start.
